Adrian Naylor came up trumps at the area committee last night, he has secured funding for a new pelican type crossing to replace the bottom crossing ,Cllr mallinson was not amused I bet as he wanted the funding to go towards doing up the town hall well done Adrian its good to know we have a councillor on bfd who earns his wage  maybe he will give us some more info about when it is to be installed andwhat other use it could serve |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) Excellant the correct crossing is going to be upgraded This area is much worse for accidents/traffic chaos etc than by the town hall (though in fairness i have had dicey situations using all the crossings) is Cllr Malinson still going ahead with his Tour De France speedbump crossing (maybe we could have a watersplash too and a dirt section turn it into cyclocross) |

Yes Well done Adrian, to the people of Silsden I would say, "See what a local caring independent Councillor can do for our town" Remember this; next time Mallinson come up for election, we need Councillors who look after us not just follow the wishes of their party. |
