Ditto, you've created a brilliant website that I recommend to all my friends, near and far. Please keep up the good work and give yourself a pat on the back. Oh, and 'thank you' |

I am flattered by your praise. Please use the message board and give me your suggestions (and news) and I will do my best to put it on the site.
Thanks, Peter |

The website is very good Peter. Congratulations for providing a good service. I am thinking of writing about the restaurants and takeaways as a guide, would you consider publication? |

The 4 poems on the site were written by Edwin for the site - I do have the translations for the two poems without translations, I will put them on soon. Edwin did not write any more poems in dialect, but there is an amusing story of Silsden and its past residents which could perhaps, with the poems, be made into a very small booklet.
Other poems written by Edwin are more personal and not in dialect.
I'll try to find some time to type up the story and perhaps it could be shared like the poems. - Peter |
