I had a good laugh on how the answers to my original question on the Grouse went. Such an idea crossed my mind but I was too polite to put into print!! Now, what is the Pie Shop pka Danny's turning into. No planning permission requests so I can only assume another butchers or pie shop? Anyone know - and it is probably to small for that suggestion  '); |

As there is no planning permission for change of use I assume it must be food. Another Deli - unless the existing one is moving - is brave. In Settle on Saturday and the Deli there is closing - as are a few other places by the look of it. Maybe they will make delicious pies again!!! |

Must have read the Weekend Guardian. Someone who predicted the present crisis three years ago, and was then scoffed at!!! reckons domestic property prices have another 25% to fall and commercial property 50%!!!!!!!! Based on wages the average house should be around £80 000. A new three bedroom terrace with garage. Well that was our first house in 1974 with a mortage based on three times my then roughly average salary. |
