Has the new veg shop closed down? |

Young man in shop about two weeks ago said he had not much stock as he intended to paint the interior of the shop. However it definately appears empty now. It is a pity that there is not an independent greengrocer in Silsden. I know the stock is very perisheable so tricky. do people in Silsden get all their stuff at the major supermarkets? Or Don't eat much fresh fruit and veg or just use the Coop where you have to watch 'use by dates'?? |

mostly from the big supermarkets in Kly. although we do get the odd bit and look out for special deals in co-op, but their stuff isn't too good a lot of the time. |

I find the fresh food in the Co-operative reasonable. At least you know where a lot of it is grown. |

I tried it three times but each time the produce was way past its best so I stopped going.It is not in a good position as not much passing trade there.Co-op fruit and veg has improved a lot I think, it is fresher than it used to be. |
