Each shrub and bush looks like a can/bottle/fast food container store. The cenotaph itself sported an empty whiskey bottle the other day. The wreath is now yellow and wizened, certainly not befitting a memorial.
Anyone for a general clean up session? |

It is a memorial garden in honour of our war dead! and they ones responsible should be ashamed of themselves. |

Walked past there this morning and attempted to pick up most of the bottles and cans. Unfortunately with the rain the paper items were soggy, so didn't manage those as it requires gloves and grabber. It must have been one hell of a party, there were bottles and bottle tops everywhere, pizza boxs and some VERY unmentionable items. What a sad reflection on the people that have done this, 2 bins to use. They brought it with them, why couldn't they dispose of it, not rocket science to deposit the afore mentioned items in either receptacle. Makes you wonder what sort of people they will grow up to be.!! |

High time the police had a quiet word, if only to tell them to clear their waste away, and point out that it is a memorial garden and to show some respect. |

Jolmart, did you report it to the police, nothing can be done if they are unaware of the problem.Could it be made into an alcohol free zone like some places in other areas. |

Have noticed in some areas, a notice of Bye Law that restricts drinking, maybe one for the powers that be to implement at the Memorial. A problem that certainly needs attention. |
