See they are at it again.Those lads in the roads dept must have little to do.They are to make the road the Steeton to Utley road 40mph because of all the accidents over the years aat Hawkcliffe Corner.Can someone tell them there is no longer az glut of accidents at that corner.Yes there has been some.A news item in the Keighley News in 1957 pinpointed the problem and shows a picture of the aDdverse camber.Its been sorted.You can see how the road has been lifted and is about 2ft higher than the pavement.The legal process and new signs will probably cost say £5k.But is money that could be spent on something essential |

Ive been on this road quite alot recently (car woes) and theres hardly any traffic on it |
