To celebrate Halloween, we've picked a book that will scare and terrify you: AMERICAN PSYCHO, by Bret Easton Ellis. The book takes us on a dark adventure with Patrick Bateman, a handsome, charming intellectual who is very much in touch with his darker side. You may recognise the it from the film based on it, with the same title, starring Christian Bale. Anyone is welcome to join us but must supply their own copy of the book (for now), read it beforehand, and we will discuss what we each thought about it on the night. |
