This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

which bridal shop do you think will go first?

the 'ava hamilton' one, or the little one further along?

and why do shops always come and go in silsden? poor marketing or poor customers?

or as they are specialist shops they might work, if advertised properly, people do travel for bridal shops, so two in the town might encorage more to visit. Two shops for one trip.

Shops in Silsden are attractive as business premises where people will come to the place for the service it offers. Rather a couple of wedding shops than more estate agents and hairdressers.

I understand that the big bridal shop is doing fine. As for the other local shops. use them or lose them.

Please can you tell me what its called. I would like to contact them as there is a dress I really like in the window. I saw it yesterday when I was driving past. Hope you can help. Regards Hils

Im just wondering how many times one can
use a bridal shop in the course of a year unless your names Elizabeth Taylor I suppose!
They do have some stunning window displays though so perhaps the residents of Silsden could window shop.

Silsden is an ideal centre for a specialist shop. Especially one that people are willing to make an effort to visit.

While Silsden itself might not suggest itself as a centre of affluence there is a pretty affluent catchment area from the NW across to the NE. They both seem to be surviving.
