This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

There are links on the LHS menu of this website for walks around the area, under the heading of Local Information.

Bradford organise walks, some of which start here, there is usually a booklet on the walking events in the library (the current walking itinerary finishes this month so you may have to check in a few weeks time when they have produced a new booklet). Usually there is a walk organised through Middleton Woods when it is bluebell time. The walks are in the Bradford area but some of the walks start from Wesley Place and guidance is given for time and difficulty.

Buy the book which is for sale in the Post Office.
It has a series of excellent graded walks which should suit anyone.

The summer season guided walks book is in the lobby of the library. There is also a (green) evening walks leaflet, these are guided walks around the Bradford area, described as easy and circular.
