Yes, this is very sad news. We used the restaurant frequently. Unfortunately, like Bai Tong, they cannot survive on just weekend trade. There were very few people in during the week. The rent and utilities for such a large place cannot be cheap. Not good for Silsden |

oh dear, they had spent so much money and time trying to make a go of it. As I said before, use it or loose it. We will miss you !! |

I'd suggest this thread is hidden until confirmed with the Grouse -won't help their buisness to discover next week that they should have bothered coming in this week as they closed last week . . . they were still taking bookings into the future when we discovered they were booked up sunday.

yea is a real shame but not surprising really. went several times but was never really impressed with one thing and another, at times poor and slightly abrupt service, no atmosphere and the food average. I preferred the Italian that was there before. |

very strange, it was only a few days ago that they were recruiting bands on facebook and talking about all their other plans, fully booked on mothers day so not sure why they would close.Presume that is it then, it is now closed? I t would seem they have known for a while if all the staff already have other jobs. People are having to tighten their belts and only go out for a meal on a special occasion now, sadly the meal I had there on a special occasion was very disappointing . |

Had many meals at The Grouse and never a bad one,I for one am sorry to see it go. Seems only thing to succeed in Silsden is curry houses, such a shame. |

I suppose curries are cheap but not something that appeals to me. To be honest we have ha so many mediocre meals out that we have given up, doesn't seem to be anywhere locally that is consistant in serving first class food in nice surroundings at a reasonable price, shame. |

Will be very saved to see the grouse close, used it very regularly and never had a bad meal yet. Shame there will be no where left in Silsden for a decent evening meal from now on |
