Posted on behalf of Liz Thompson There is a planning mtg tmrw (Wed) at Keighley Town Hall if anyone has any concerns about the overdevelopment at Greengates which has no pedestrian safety whatsoever. It has 12 car parking spaces, no footpaths and is overdevelopment for a tight area where there's vehicle issues and neglect of the unadopted road which will have no requirement for ongoing maintenance from the council. A revised and much reduced development will be more appropriate. Comments can still be put on the planning website. Be brief and stick to planning issues. |

It strikes me that a business will have delivery of raw materials, collection of finished goods (both on HGVs), visits from reps and customers and sundry to-ing and fro-ing of staff. It's likely that housing will provide a far more peaceful environment. |

Details of this should first be submitted and approved in writing by the local Planning Authority. Reason : To improve visibility splays in the interests of highway safety and to accord with Policy DS4 of the Core Strategy Development Plan |
