this post has been edited 2 time(s) Hi everyone, Just a friendly warning, there is company pretending to be Microsoft which seems to be upping their efforts in this area recently, we have had a lot of people coming in recently who have fallen victim to this scam, some of them have lost a lot of money because of it! Just hang up straight away if they call you, Microsoft will never phone a home user, one good way of preventing repeat phone calls from them is to tell them you have an Apple computer, since the scam does not work on those  We are always happy to give free advice and even free diagnostics, so feel free to call in if you think you have been affected! |
