just thought i would say hi to all silsdeners as i am now living in australia and keep up to date with the goings on of silsden.love it here,clean,no litter and they take a great pride in their country....beautiful weather etc etc...just wanted to say "hi" to fellow cobbydalers and hope all is well is silsden.... |

hi gwinozzie from sunny(for a change) Silsden. I was lucky enough to spend a holiday in oz last January travelling from Sydney up to Cairns in a motorhome. We spent a day in Brisbane looking round the impressive city with its old colonial buildings mixed with the modern high rises. I liked the swimming pool and "sandy beach" by the river and the tropical gardens. My wife liked the Queen St. shopping mall! As you say, it was very clean and litter free,no fag ends, chewing gum or bottles and the national pride was plain for all to see. Very friendly people,just like Silsden. Don`t get too homesick! |
