In the 1960's Burnley actually won things and Silsden people started supporting them. Now Blackburn are East Lancashires top club so not many support Burnley now.
And its more fun watching Silsden.

oh flippin eck! 'allan grop' you obviously want an argument.silsden is nearer to bradford than burnley.bradford is in yorkshire!!.bradfordians talk more like us than them over't border.what's more you obviously don't have a clue just how many bantoms fans live in your own town.emigrate over t'border if you prefer claret and blue to claret and amber.

when James and Flyn played for Burley they were often in Silsden doing charity work and ref matches in the park they were invited over by a bloke nicknamed flash who was a big Burnley supporter no one from Bradford city or Leeds ever took the trouble to take up invites.

Well said cobby 1 I had that event in sisden park printed in the Burnley Programme Leighton James awarded Flash (Norman Sherwood)a penalty Flash kept missing the spot kick but Leighton James kept having him retake it till he scored.Bobber i remember 2 Bradford City fans one being the very dear Roy Mason a local author who i knew well spent many a Saturday with him watching Burnley in the longside but Roy was really a city fan and tragicly died in the Bradford Fire, indeed likewise as a football fan i did watch City games when Burnley were playing away. But we all should get behind Silsden AFC I have been to watch them a number of times, all Silsdeners should.
