IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

Subjects
When starting a new topic please try to make your topic titles descriptive of your subject. E.g. "Looking for" or "For Sale" is not really helpful.

I know it is tempting sometimes to make a vague subject header sometimes, but it will not help when your topic is a few posts down the list - it will just be forgotten and ignored.

I have made two new icons to help your post stand out from the crowd:
use for sale or wanted posts
use for announcements or events
