This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

take you're pick.. my original idea was "who's up their own bottom club", but decided it was much too long, so should really stick with SFS.

Mmmmmmmm, wouldn't dare answer that one 'alliecoward'.

I was wondering though if Peter allowed us to post little pictures/avatars of ourselves on here with the posts if we'd be nicer to each other?

Or would it spoil the fun?

The forum software used is very basic and doesn't allow aviators (small pictures associated with the poster). However, if the forum gets any busier I will have to change the software and use a "grownup forum solution" which will have more features, including aviators. The downside is the database structure will be different and past posts will be lost.

Basic aviators are graphic symbols, you have to be a super poster to qualify to be able to upload your own picture ... no problem for your then Alan. happy :)happy :)

Can you not add photo's onto a post using a web based image image host such as Photobucket?

On this forum you can link to an image which is on some webspace, just use the image icon on the reply form and paste the url of the image between the tags.

This is not the same as a messageboard aviator which is a unique image assigned to an individual poster. (aviators are not available on this messageboard software). On some messageboards you are allowed to upload your image to use as an aviator, the default (provided) aviator images are usually pretty naff!
