Silsden Urban District Council provided many council houses in Silsden but these came under Bradford Council control under council reorganization. More than 10 years ago all the houses that remained under council ownership were transfered to a housing trust. There were a sizable number still in Silsden. Under the deal the council would receive some VAT back. The council now have £23m back from the deal. If there is any money to be spent in Silsden? I will all got to fill the black hole caused by the work on the Town hall. |
