Peter Website Member Posts : 5064	11/02/2015 : 18:35:04 My name is Luke and I am a 12 year old boy from Silsden, I am planning a coffee morning at St James Church Hall on 21st February from 10am-12pm with 2 friends for a little 2 year old girl called Ruby who has neuroblastoma cancer, a fatal childhood cancer. I wondered if you could put a notice up on silsden.net about it as we are trying to get as many people to come as possible and I would highly appreciate it if you could

I thought starting at 10, should take about an hour. Hope to see you there.

We were stunned and delighted by the kindness and generosity from the members of Silsden.net, Silsden taxis and all the local Silsden residents who came to support this cause. So far we have the unbelievable amount of £1255 and we are still getting donations from people who were unable to come to the coffee morning. If anyone would like anymore information about little Ruby and her illness please let me know (also any other fundraising ideas are most welcome!) otherwise you can follow her on face book or twitter "Help Ruby Laura Smash Cancer".
