This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

Evening all,
I've been looking into venues in which to hold my daughters first birthday party. Ideally, I was looking at an "all in" venue, i.e. Funplanet but the cost per head was just too pricey for a 1 year olds party. So now, I am looking into hiring a function room and to do it myself.

I've emailed for the Silsden Village Hall and also Silsden Methodist church but can anyone think of any suitable venues to hold such an event? Ideally a venue which is close by but could travel.

Replies much appreciated as I'm struggling!! sad :(

May not be ready in time for your upcoming party but for the future think about the football/cricket club's new facility.
if the committee men are there, it will be much like fun planet..... a lot of soft inanimate objects lying around!! Pete hanson especially would make a great 'crash mat'

Have a look round Silsden Town Hall before you decide, it's recently been refurbished.

p.s. we should all support our local town when we can wink ;)

Like Jack Lemmon said, if it is after mid-April then the Football/Cricket Sports Club will be THE venue.

Yes and the entertaining committee come free!!
