hopefully one day between xmas and new year to pick the rubbishangryangry up in and around the trees at the top of the park/rugby field,now the leaves have dropped its quite a mess im available all week except weds am, 4 or 5 off us should do it in an hour,volunteers please with day you can give an hour or so

10am thurs 29th then,, pick up tools poss no good among the trees,, but i will bring bags and gloves, any more helpers out there,,meet on seats up banklands lane at the back of the coppice behind rugby field at top of parkhappy :)happy :)

WELLsad :(sad :( is there anyone else out there thats up for helping with this clean up 10am in the morning,come on there must be some of you that can give 15,30,45 mins or more time for a good cause, do you want a cleaner town and park???????

7am and throwing it down i will still be there,parked on banklands in a black 4x4, but if still throwing it down will wait 1/2 hour and if he weather has put folk off will rearrange for a later date ,but still turn up if fine by 10am,cheers.

well thanks men 5or6 of us 1 hour in the wind and rain got most of it done about 12 bags full, me bobt, dogooder and the other 2 im sure will make themselves known on here,well done,,,absence of localman and roosterman notedangry and greengrass you could of turned up to get some of that weight offangry,plenty of watchers on banklands, shame they didnt come out and give us a few mins,and a brew would of been nice,anyway banklands residents i would be gratefull if one of u could come out next collection day and ask the binmen to pick up the bags cheers.happy :)happy :)happy :)your view of top of park a lot nicer now?

Bob, I made this suggestion to Silsden Town Council to stop litter accumulating in the park a long time ago "A good idea" which was forwarded to Bradford BUT NOTHING HAPPENED

Anyone visiting the park after a rugby or football match cannot help to notice the
amount of litter left behind. Eventually the wind blows and it ends up at the bottom of
the trees.

I propose a litter £ deposit is made when the match field is booked and is only refundable if the park is left litter free after the game.
