Way back in 1975, as a young 16 year old lad from the Midlands, i visited Silsden over the Christmas period, staying at a friends parents home, just along the road from the Lampkin's home, i made lot's of friends who made me most welcome, unfortunately, not long after this time my friends parents moved to Settle, so i never revisited the area, the only names i can recall from my visit, were the sisters, Jean and Shirley, who were more or less the same age as me and a lad called Smiffy. If there is anyone who can point me in the right direction to maybe locating 'old friends', that is if they can remember me, i would appreciate any help. Thanks.  Dave Plant |
