They are causing chaos on Keighley Road.
They have parked on low loader on the pavement blocking access to the lane at the back of Keighley Road and also parked on the pavement blocking access to residents coming in and outr of the front of the houses on Keighley Road there are at least 3 properties that they are parked on the pavement diurectly outside of the front yars, let's hope there is no fire or gas leaks in these properties as the residents are effectively trapped inside. Then to make it all so much better they have double parked on the pavement opposite so there is no pedestrian access down Keighley Road and just a very narrow road area they are pushing drivers through.
Its a joke and an accident waiting to happen as they are also parking trucks and turning them round in the entrance to penine playgrounds, habasit rossi and Naylor myers.

are they doing right down to the roundabout? and anyone know what time they finish, we tried to get out of clog bridge earlier along with a lot of other people and had to turn round in the end and do a long detour, they were not letting anyone out of there. |

When I set off for work at 6am there was a road sweeper going up and down collecting the loose chippings. Hopefully this will mean less loose stuff when the morning rush starts.
I hope they do the pavements too as I am lucky I was out and about in my wellies yesterday on so i just need to extract the chipping with a screwdriver have I had flipflips, sandals or light trainers on I would have had no end of chipping inbedded in the soles of my shoes or in my shoes.
I hope they are soon coming out to repaint the crossings, I got lucky each time I crossed yesterday as the drivers seemed to recognise that i was stodd at a crossing but it could cause all kinds of problems today with the increased car and foot traffic |

I was on the motorbike this morning when I found a big pile of loose gravel on the corner at the bottom of Briggate, good job I was going dead slow or I would have been off. |

typical response localman! you try walking from where I live with a suitcase, its a good 40 min walk and then the trunk road to negotiate even without a case is bad enough. |

what a mess! i've never seen such a p*ss poor job. did they just throw gravel on the road with shovels? there are piles of gravel at every junction, most of which is going to end up blocking the drains. How many man hours are now going to be spent with a roadsweeper clearing up?
i went out on my scooter this morning & thankfully only had to turn left out of clog bridge but even then i had to ride over a huge pile of gravel. i'd say it's unridable on 2 wheels in this condition - & who would be to blame if someone came off? it's a disgrace |
