New group starting June 12th. Tuesdays 4.30-6pm. 4 week introductory course which will continue as an ongoing group if members interested. YOGA Gentle Hatha Postures and Meditation Practices in the Satyananda Tradition. Swami Satyananda identified a number of yogic techniques from the ancient tantras which could balance the body, mind and emotions and develop personal understanding in the current era. A short course of four taster sessions will introduce the practices of: Ajapa Japa (spontaneous mantra) Akasha Awareness (spaciousness) from Vigyana Bhairava Tantra Yoga Nidra (psychic sleep) Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra (healing mantra) A four week taster course of 1½ hour sessions.
