What are them yellow blocks for?

dunno but i presume your refering to the vw camper
its been there on and off for ages yup im guessing the faith in the handbrake is minimal

I actually thought you were joking! They're called 'chocks' as in "chocks away!"

Quite sensible for a large vehicle parked on a hill, better to be safe than sorry. Although you'd think being that sensible they'd pick a better place to park, glad I don't live next door, wouldn't want to look at that out my window everyday.

Actually those yellow things that look like chocks; are for leveling the van on uneven ground!
Although if that was the owners intention on Skipton Road he will need some that are a fair bit bigger. These will neither level it or stop it running away.

If there plastic thats not so bad but if there METAL well i think its about £260 a ton there not safe some body will have emwink ;)

yup ive seen them n i dont think it will stop it running away
there only about 3 inch high

I think the chocks are to keep the fridge inside the van level not to stop it running away

This topic was brought up a few months ago and the van was moved later that day ,Its all about parking so many metres from a busy junction when you are trying to emerge from the cobbles on Elm Grove
