Our friend Mr Mallinson is onboard and wants to be the train driver. He is a Bradford Met Councillor for Craven He is Clerk to Lothersdale Parish Council He is Clerk to Cowling Parish Council He has announced his intention to stand at this coming May's Craven District Council's election for Cross Hills & Glusburn. How can you serve on two adjoining councils?. What happens if there is council business for both councils on the same day?Its a bit more be paid for both jobs than say an unpaid councillor on the Town Council and then becoming a ward councillor |

Did you notice that reading between the lines he says that Bradford council will still be under Labour control after the election? He says that's why he can stand for craven council and still get paid from Bradford because he doesn't do anything on Bradford council! |

Looked at the online document that shows his "vested interests" last night. It needs updating. Going from memory, it was last updated in 2005? Things I have seen in the press recently, don't add up. I'm not saying he (or any other candidate) is acting outside of the law, but clarity on his agenda(s) is required.... |

Did you read his annual reports? "What I have achieved in the past year (May 2008 - May 2009): Working with my ward colleagues we have secured funding to refurbish Silsden town hall." Why did it need doing again so soon after 2009? |

I wonder if he will propose closing and selling Cross Hills library and using the money to refurbish Glusburn Institute and moving the library to a tiny room there? |
