I would like to wish Frankie Wainman Jr (515) and his brother Danny (212) the very best of luck at the Formula 1 Stock Car Championship of the World final this coming Saturday 3rd September being held at Coventry Motor Speedway. The Wainmans are a much respected and established stock car racing family and I am sure that there are many Silsden residents who know of what they do. I am often curious as to how many people from Silsden follow this sport; one of the reasons I moved to Silsden from Essex was because of its connections with the Wainmans having supported stock car racing since 1974. Good luck Frankie and Danny. |
