An accident waiting to happen, tonight the lights are out on Clogg Bridge and stuck on red outside the Toyota Garage.  SO BE CAREFUL |

Both sides were solid red when I walked past about 19:30, traffic had no option but to run red and was meeting head on! Some of the speeds people are going through there will be an accident! Faulty traffic lights cause people to doubt their signal even when operating properly and therefore making it equally dangerous to go through even when GREEN!!! |

They certainly weren't working at 8.00am this morning, though they did look like they were trying to install new ones. I contacted them four times yesterday, the police phoned them, town councillors phoned them, and what happens? 24 hours of defective lights - what a shower! |

As I was riding down Howden Road Thursday evening at approx. 7pm I stopped at the red light Would you believe it, at least 4 cars went round me through the red light without waiting to see if it changed to green. Glad to say they met traffic coming the other way. Bonkers, the lot of them. |

We have just returned from a walk that took in Howden Road. Imagine our disgust when we saw that the light unit up by the Toyota Garage had been pushed over and vandalised. No wonder the lights don't work. Also, a number of the barriers had been pushed over as well. Weekend mindless yobs strike yet again. |

As a matter of fact when I passed in my car at 11.30pm (so I had not been drinking) they were all ok. If I was gonna do owt I'd concrete the workforce in the trench!  |
