Above as just landed behind the Fire station, lots of emergence vehicles there also. Anybody know what is the reason? Hope it all turns out O.K. |

From the T & A A MAN in his 70s has died following a stabbing incident at Silsden. Police and paramedics were called to an address in Oakland Street at 8.16am today. The man was declared dead at the scene. A man in his 40s has been arrested and is currently in custody. Police say inquiries are ongoing. |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) Update from the T & A A COMMUNITY has spoken of its shock after a man in his 70s died in a stabbing incident. Police and paramedics were called to a house in Oakland Street, Silsden, early this morning. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers arrested a man in his 40s, said locally to be the victim's son, on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody. Police, who were alerted to the incident at 8.16am, and a forensics team have spent much of the day at the property. The terraced street was sealed off.
