How good is Paul's? Darn good I'd have to say! I popped over at about 10am today hoping he was open as I wanted some screws. He was of course closed, Paul has a life, I understand that. Just as I was standing there wondering wether I could be bothered to trail to the DIY shed in Kly (Naylor Myers were closed as well), Paul came round the corner, said hello and asked what I needed and opened up specially for me to sell me two quids worth of screws! Who else would do that for you?! Not many. Three cheers for Paul's Hardware and Paul, a real Silsden character. |

And a lot of his stuff is actually cheaper than B&Q et al. While they discount the big stuff they certainly do not on the small. |

this post has been edited 2 time(s) always knocks me something off as well and always a long chat about our beloved leeds utd some of his older stock is still at the older prices and well beats other diys stores a lot of the timebuy local and it keeps the shop rolling and open unlike bike ,carparts,opticians,jewelers,tv and electrical, horse tack,and gunshop shops weve lost,allbeit some of them a long time ago |

So,Paul is honest,reliable,friendly,supports local events,hard worker and obviously loved by Silsdeners,was gonna suggest he become an M.P but he doesnt quite fill the criteria.Well done Paul.....your a star!!!!! |

There, thats the Leeds Utd bit out of the way, as for the rest of the comments I agree, very friendly, very helpful and always rounds the price down. Proper good old-style community shopkeeper. |
