Was that Mallinson unveiling something at the top of town this lunch time - must have been a crowd of about 20 spit lickles listening to him. Guess it was something to commemorate the selling off of town assets for his own pet project. Shame they are building the traffic obstacle outside the town hall so he could do it there. But it just matches the complete incompetence of the whole project. Bring on the election and lets get rid of him! |

Verb
rob Peter to pay Paul
(idiomatic) To use resources that legitimately belong to or are needed by one party in order to satisfy a legitimate need of another party, especially within the same organization or group; to solve a problem in a way that makes another problem worse, producing no net gain. |

I haven't been down there, but was it the erection of the illegal sign they plan to put up in the car park flower beds? In a conservation area, without getting planning permission?

Quote from old minor, Do you mean that rather nice sign showing the history of Sislden. if so.......! Yes I do mean that illegal sign, which is not showing the history of sislden. It is in a conservation area and as such should have obtained the proper planning permission, Before it was erected. |

Peter, why are you protecting him? Yes we will all have a chance of removing him in May, but is that a reason to allow his destruction of our Town to go on unopposed? quote Edmund Burke “All it takes for evil to succeed is for a few good men to do nothing...” |
