I am not a happy bunny. This morning my granddaughter and I popped into the Co-op for a few things as we set off for a day out by the river at Burnsall. We parked at the side of the Co-op in Hillcrest Avenue. We were only in there about 10 minutes but were shocked to return to the car to find that someone had scratched the word FART right in the middle of the bonnet in letters about 3 inches high.

Of course, nobody had seen anything. Although for a Friday morning there weren't that many people about.

I would like to say that if I ever get my hands on the scum who did this I will scratch something on them that they won't like.

So just be aware...Liz

Is their CCTV by the door to the sunnybank?. Doubt it would show anything but might be worth a go.

If they catch the little g**ts make sure you push for full payment through court from them for the repair. Even if the police only give caution, civil court for payment. Name and shame too on this site.

Unbelievable! I bet your gutted!

Thank jbrare...yes, I am gutted. I don't have a lot of money and my car is a lifeline so to have this done is beyond words. But I don't think there's much hope of catching the b****rd who did it.

But thanks again for your support...Liz

I am sorry to hear you like me have been a victim of crime, these morons need a public flogging if caught.

The police confiscate goods and money from drug dealers money laundering and theives, does anyone know to apply for from the Proceeds of Crime Fund,
something like what this lady suffered wont be worth claiming on insurance but if the police have a fund that comes from the vilains then surely a case like this deserves some consideration,in other words villains paying for villains to put this ladys car right again.

I would like to know the culprit who scraped my drivers side wing , sometime last night on Pickard Street.

The toilet that did it did not have the decency to leave a note, or attempt to find me. They probably don't give a monkeys that their actions constitute criminal damage, let

Just to cheer you up -- A few years ago I was driving my Ford Transit van and exited a parking space at Asda carpark. I broke the front right headlight of a parked car next to me. There was also slight damage to the wing surrounding the headlight.Only a small scratch on my van. I wrote my ph number on a piece of paper, and left this under the wiper. The owner contacted me and the issue was settled. Some of my friends have said that they would have done a runner but I, at the time thought how I would feel if someone had damaged my car and just disappeared.
The reason for the numerous updates and the erasing of my first post is because I tried and in my ignorance failed, to insert a, " Smiley," even though I had read the, "help" section; " How to insert a smiley," which, in my defence does not tell you how to insert a smiley. How????
