Dont think it was a petrol bomb !! On sunday morning there was a building brick on one of the tables and a 12" hole in the window Tonight was opening night for them I'm simply amazed how a shop can look like the back end of a cow for so long without any trouble. As soon as someone tries to make a go of it and make the place look nice it gets a brick through the window. |

Thats for Sunday night, They came back and set it alight the night after. Its in the Keighley target Apparently they tried on saturday night but didnt set it alight Ive heard a similiar thing has happened in Addingham to a newsagents |

what happened to the cctv cameras silsden was supposed to be getting?Are we still getting them and why is it taking so long? A camera may have prevented this or at least given clues to who did it. |

silsden business watch still fighting to get the cameras we need more support but we have made a lot of progress Bingley have already managed it and we are not far behind,we need every one to support our project watch this space for announcment in the near future. |

how much has been raised so far and how much is needed? I would have thought that a precept on the council tax would have been a good way to raise the money I am sure no one would object to say £1 a week per person for a year, people spend that on the lottery without batting an eyelid. |

I seem to remember the Business Watch were going to install cameras down the high street about 6 months ago. As I said before - blind leading the blind and drinking in a brewery comes to mind. |

Well said Alan I know its not a lot but its 6000 times better than when we first started if we all had the same attitude as "Watchit" we would still be living in caves. |

OK so what have you done and where are you now? Why is it so difficult to put up a video camera to watch a street attached to a video recorder, it should cost peanuts! Does it have to be monitored 24/7 What's all this "we pay enough rates Bradford and they should provide the service because it has been done somewhere else" Am I missing something somewhere, why is it so difficult? For those that do know the difficulties perhaps it is time to share it with the rest of us. |

I think it's very shocking what has happened at Lazeez especially after all the work they had put in on the downstairs. Hope it reopens soon |
