Silsden AFC car boot sales will be held on the land of the old Riverside Mill complex adjoining the ground & opposite Aldi. Sellers £10 a car, Buyers 50p (children free) Free parking in the complex. Sunday`s 7.00 – 12.00 MAY 17th & 31st JUNE 21st & 28th JULY 19th & 26th AUG 16th & 23rd SEPT 6th, 20th & 27th OCT 4th |

I've just been past there and the board says the car boot sales are 24th May, 14th June and 12th July, didn't catch the August one. Which is correct please? |

Are you mixing the afc car boot with the riverside field car boot? Similar places but different dates |

Can I ask the question, if you can provide 100's of off road parking for a fund raising activity, why can this parking facility not be used on matchdays ? |

A good straight forward question but I’m afraid it’s down to finances. We had to hire the venue, hire a road sweeper to remove glass and rubble and have 3 paid marshals. You can imagine the fee needed to hire a £5m venue. We would love to be able to use it at every game, remember had any supermarket got the site part of the deal was a 44 car + car park for the people of Silsden. |

Due to the forthcoming storms forecasted on Sunday the 31st May our car boot sale is cancelled. The next ones will be June 21st & 28th + Jul 19 & 26 Aug 16 & 23 Sept 6 - 20 & 26 Oct 4 |

Am I missing something? old miner We had to get a pro cleaner in as when it was demolished the breeze blocks crumbled and when wet set. Now when they get wet they become like a skating rink. We had the community service workers helping some of us trying to clear it but when it was wet it was too dangerous and when it was dry it could not be shifted. Not one person on the club committees,are paid a penny, the club is run by volunteers. So old miner, you are missing nothing at all, but would be nice if you backed us instead of joining the knockers. |

JULY 19th & 26th AUG 16th & 23rd SEPT 20th & 27th OCT 4th Bradmet have asked us to remove our sign off the wooden fence opposite the Aldi exit and we have re sighted it on the roadside - Just to say this Sundays Car Boot is still on. |
