Drystone Radio, the community radio station based in Cowling will be going on air on 106.9FM from Friday 16th January 2009 for five years. We ae currently sending out a trade test signal on 106.9FM which includes music, talk and jingles to let you know what is coming to the airwaves. We are your local community radio station and if you have anything that you want publicising then please get in touch. You can ring us on 01535 635392, our email address is: email@drystoneradio.com. You can log onto our website at www.drystoneradio.co.uk and if you are a blogger then log onto www.drystone.blogspot.com and have your say. Hi Ted, Yes there are jobs going at the station but we are all volunteers. We are looking for new members to help in all aspects of running a radio station but as I have mentioned before we are doing it for the love of it, free gratis. Excellent news, we could do with a good local radio station at this end of the valley! Nice signal in Silsden by the way, but a bit noisy in Steeton  Wonder if you'll run news and info from Silsden Town Council if we pass it on to you? |

Hi Alan, I have picked up two bits of information for Silsden for the programme tomorrow (Sun 11th Jan). 1. Local Silsden Bus company keeps contract for local bus service and 2. Next Silsden Town Council Planning meeting this coming Friday. Both will be mentioned on the programme tomorrow. Log onto www.drystoneradio.co.uk.
