IMPORTANT PLEASE READ This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Not sure how good a deal this is but might be worth checking out www.eonenergy.com/NR/rdonlyres/BD5552D2-70D1-4CDA-B13F-6D5478ACB3C4/0/E133351_SolarExchange_0224_04_11.pdf |

We are with Eon for gas and electric, and I had a good look at this. It's a great idea. Sadly, we are not mainly south facing, and are in the conservation area also, so we cannot apply. However, it is well worth looking into, some of these deals look good for the future...good one to bring up gazzer! It all helps these days. ![]() |

We have had solar panels for over 30years now, and they really do work. On a day like today you get more hot water than you can use. You just have to learn how to switch from the solar tank to your own hot water tank to be able to store it. I believe all new houses should be built with solar panels included, this would help the environment. |
