as an idea to drum up local trade in the spring time why not have a 'duck festival'? quirky ideas like this can be big successes. ask people from outside the area what they remember about silsden and they often think of the duck pond on the main street. stalls could be set up on the car park selling allsorts, local schools could be encouraged to get involved. what do you all reckon? |

silsdenbull, Did you get to the business watch Christmas extraveganza held in the town on wednesday night 07-12-05? It was somthing like your suggestion, talk to the organisers and you will see just how much hard graft goes into doing somthing like it. Best of luck in trying to get any help out of most of the people of silsden. a few usually the same few are very helpfull, sadly to many are not. |
