I have just heard that some thieving scumbag has stolen the union flag off of the St James's Church flagpole. To the vermin that took it I say, “If you are so committed to this country that you want its flag then, don't demean the country by stealing from the local community, go buy a flag of your own. The one you have stolen should be given back to its rightful owners. A fair few people gave their time to replace the flag and try to stop it being stolen again, so, Give it back!” |

Sure it didn't go in the high winds we've been having? One of the flags at work simply disintegrated at the attachment end and flew away to pastures new in the strong winds the other day.

I can't say for sure, I haven't spoken to him since he told me of the theft, but I would think he would like to have a union flag as well as the St George one, many thanks for the offer. Sorry if this sounds snotty it is not meant to be but, it is a union flag, unless it is being flown from the jack staff which is what they call the flag pole at the front of a Royal Navy ship, please don't take any offence for me pointing this out. |
