this post has been edited 1 time(s) Myself & the other half are both are members of the Craven Pool and Fitness Centre in Skipton,North Yorkshire. Every year there is a charity sports event that members can compete in. The current challenge is a gym based triathalon with the money raised going to the Breast Cancer Unit at Airedale General Hospital and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Our Triathalon Challenge is to complete a fitness centre and pool based three event challenge anytime during October and November,we can pick the date but it has to be completed all in one session. I am doing Silver challenge (1Km rowing/20km bike/5km running) HF is doing the Bronze 500m swim/10km bike/2.5km treadmill/cross trainer. Anyway we are looking for people to sponsor us. If you would like to sponsor either of us then your support would be very much appreciated, we will be collecting the sponsorship money towards the end of November. MORE IRON MAN  Breast cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK. In 2005 more than 45,500 women were diagnosed with breast cancer, that’s around 125 women a day. Each year around 300 men are diagnosed with breast cancer.  To keep both of Yorkshire's ambulances in the air we need to raise £7200 per day. This is equivalent to £2.65 million per year. thanks guys think i might have a helicopter ride on monday about 2pm not sure if im raising money for them or just paying my aifare on the air ambulance from skipton baths to airedale  congrats to your son peter not supprised it took so much out of him |

20k bike ride 45mins 14 seconds 5k cross trainer 29mins 32 seconds 1k rowing 4mins 40 seconds (ended up doing an extra 1.44k on crosstrainer as HF stopped me to say something before she went to do her 20 laps of the pool n the xtrainer only pauses for about 1 min before cancelling so had to start again  )afterwards went to craven heifer for a well deserved heifer pie then home n 4 hours sleep lol will be round at the weekend collecting or up at skippys yard monday 9am possibly with yet to be decided bakeing products |

HF did in roughley the same time (she was doing the bronze triathalon but opted for swimming instead of rowing so 20 legths took her alot longer than my 1k rowing) |

Just paid up this morn ,did a dogcatcher went round to pumbas when he was at work and paid in full .Im given to believe that the only other to pay is the wealthy chap who started the ball rolling with a massive 20 quid pledge |
