My son had his brand new scooter stolen yesterday, taken from our garden off Ingsway. Whilst I have very little hope for its return, if anyone comes across a white kids scooter with red pegs and a black footboard, please let me know. And make sure your things are locked away, I have a very upset 10 year old. |

Sorry to hear that .... have you emailed the Keighley News and send them a picture of your son with the scooter (or a pic from the internet of the scooter) .. maybe put a poster in the park etc ... I would be happy to donate £5 towards a fund for your lad to buy a new one....contact me at michellemiddleton@live.co.uk if there is such a fund going. We have done it before , at silsden.net, and helped a youngster.... |

Thanks everybody, it's very kind, but there is a replacement on its way, which will be kept under lock and key. I hope that by making people aware that this has happened - and as I understand is happening regularly in Silsden - that some other poor kid doesn't have the same upset. Thank you again. |
