Can someone tell me what is happening. I am given to understand that all the doors have had to be locked and keys handed in. This centre was a life line for many local residents. |

i have been told its all change now the warden holds the keys and will give them to who wants to hold events there. the bingo is finished because they have been told they should have a gambling licence when playing for money so people have now taken bat and ball home |

The end of an era. The centre has been a meeting place for the residents of Gloucester Avenue for 3 decades. The elderly generation has always bet for pennies. How can that change just like that? Or is it BMDC sticking its nose in again? |
