This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

So far its been a mild winter so I sent in updated meter readings last night. Im with EDF and personal circumstances vary.
However we had been paying £90 a month for gas and electric and with the new readings we are a tenner in credit, even in March, and the monthly DD has reduced to £77.
It will not be the case for everyone but you can not lose anything by sending in meter readings.
Also anyone switching I would advise working out your usage over last(cold) winter if setting up a fixed rate.Might cost a bit more monthly to start with but keep sending in meter readings and you will soon pay the right amount.
