IMPORTANT PLEASE READ This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. I used to go to Curry Corner, but food - taste and quality and quantity went downhill from when it first opened. Service isn't brilliant, and there is little atmosphere... I just go to Purple Garlic now. When they did a meal deal before - quantity was small. This is just my opinion based on my experiences. |

Got to say I had a curry from Curry Corner last week and it was fantastic. Had a staff curry and a starter. The salad with the started was packaged separate and delic. The nan was great, chips ace and curry really tasty. |

Went to the Curry Corner for the first time last night and have to say that it was a fantastic meal. Our friends, who we went with, said it was the best Indian he had ever tasted and was better than the famous Akbars in Bradford. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going again and I can highly recommend the Curry Corner. We have booked for Christmas day which is a very reasonably priced meal at less than £20 each for a 4-course meal and with a free bottle of wine to share. For those who want a change from the traditional Christmas meal they still have a few places left. |

@Depth Charge Ethel Really? I lived near Brick Lane and then near the Balti Mile in Brum and they are as good if not better. So, what do trolls eat then? |

I have to say that the food at Curry Corner is without doubt the nicest in the area. They as a business have made many changes to improve the total experience. Give them a try. I know where we are going on New Years Eve.... |

Is it for sale or just the building for sale www.hayfieldrobinson.co.uk/commercial/retail/8-10-kirkgate,-silsden/ |

If you read the advert, it is for sale as an investment property, "Lower Ground Floor one bedroom flat – let by way of an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement - £4,420 per annum exclusive. Restaurant - let by way of a 15 year lease commencing in 2007 and due to expire in 2022. For further lease details please speak to the agents. The current rent passing equates to £12,380 per annum exclusive" So it it just the freehold of the building that should be affected |
