You may have seen the latest plans in the press. "Pedestrianisation of city centre streets, park and ride and new cycleway among £500m 'Transforming Cities' bid" https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/18107741.pedestrianisation-city-centre-streets-park-ride-new-cycleway-among-500m-transforming-cities-bid/ Dont be fooled into thinking this will be all Government money.
