wat makes you a silsdener?
rotter, "I didn't know silsdeners" required to be put in the "For Sale / Wanted" catergory! - never mind I have moved the topic to something more suitable
Please start new topics in the correct forum or I may not be so helpful next time and just delete the thread. Thank you Peter |

As I understand it to be a Silsdener your Grandparents need to have been born here. |

living there? Good point, 'living there' not just residing until the property prices rise.
Other Thoughts:
Regarding Silsden as your home. Being prepared to put something back. Not seeing Silsden as part of Keighley.

Hmmmm....? Surely the people are what you don't like about keighley? If you took some undesirables characters and put them in Gargrave or connonley,(or a nice place of your choice), would you then dislike those places? |

Silsdener ? any body can be a silsdener, open a shop ,get on the council or spout on a local forum, but a cobbydaler now, thats something different ,money or time cant buy that ,how then can you become a cobbydaler ? you cant, you have to be bred here ,so is this the end of the debate ,i wonder ,come on silsdeners you may want to be a Silsdener but youll never be a cobbydaler |

Think the mix-up is that some are referring to Airedale as in the hospital, as opposed to the dale/valley.
Think I understand what I'm trying to say, but I'm only an offcumden
p.s. Both the kids were born in Airedale (hosp) though |
