At least two good things came out of the elections, I found out that (a) we have a Community Centre and (b) that it is located on Gloucester Avenue. But!!! I overheard that it is only used each Wednesday for Bingo and then every other Friday for something else. If this is correct then this Community Centre seems grossly underused and hence very expensive to run To be honest until my election card came I never knew Silsden had a Community Centre!! |

I could be wrong, but I believe this centre is for the use of the residents of the in-communities homes. |
