Yes please.
We used to buy our specs from Glasses4eyes on Belton Rd until they stopped trading. We have to travel to Keighley or Skipton now.
My recently purchased glasses took "six" return trips to a very well known optitians in keighley before they got it right, so not too impressed with them. |

There used to be an opticians where Golden Leaf Designs are now but I don't know the reason why it stopped trading. I don't think it was supported very well. |

I think you would do well if your prices are reasonable and employ local people as needed goes down well too |

The main competition is Specsavers, who are competitive, quick and have a good image. If you can get close to their offering, and you are local, then you could be on to a winner. Good luck |

Oh you mean company image. Not good as far as Specsavers go..Tax avoiders using Jersey as their tax base |

I suppose if Specsavers have 42% of the UK market, someone must be happy with them. But not everyone is.....freedom of choice is always there...go where you have been looked after. Tax avoidance is something I know nothing about...I pay plenty as it is! |

Before we forget the question: I think the answer is probably yes. If you can supply a quality service at a reasonable price, Silsden people would support you. The reason ( I think) the last optician did not survive was because he took over a practice served by an Opthalmic Optician assisted by two qualified Dispensing Opticians, who were ever willing to help and advise. The new man tried to run the practice with himself present only one day in the week, assisted by a receptionist. |
