I see those hardworking people from the council have been to clean up the park today, perhaps they should have gone to specsavers, that way they may have seen all the rubbish left behind not to mention the bottles by the little kids play park.when are the council tax payers of Silsden going to get what we pay for? |

That gets you no where.tied it,waste of time. You just get told they do what they can as they have many other parks to do.They always manage time for t breaks and reading the paper in their warm cosy van though. |

You could always try doing what I do when I find bottles in the kids play area! Pick Them Up. |

daisy does that too n puts them in the bin it takes a while though as she runs towards the bin and drops it so you gotta kick it towards the bin then she gets interested in it again
but she gets it in the bin eventually plastic bottles of course |

Yes I also pick up the bottles, the point I was making is that we pay through our taxes for the park to be cleaned, the least I expect is for the job to be done properly. |

If the people who drink in the park use the bins to dispose of their empties this would be the easy way to keep the park clean |

Yes that would be a start, and if supporters of football matches could also use the bins, rugby supporters seem to do this pretty well.We have a lovely park in what I think is a decent town, most of us do seem to care about it,as usual it is the minority that muck it up for all the rest. |

What we really need is a law banning drinking in public by adults/kids within Silsden's boundaries which is enforced. Simple |

How about enforcing current laws which are more than adequate. This goverment as already introduced more than 3000 new laws in 10 years |

Most of the kids drinking in the park are under age so there is a law for that but that comes down to the same problem of not enough police to deal with it.Though not all the rubbish in the park is bottles there is lots of drink cartons n crisps packets, why dont people use bins? |

there must be at least 6 bins in the park more than adequate id say |

Actually there is no law to stop under 18's drinking in public. The police can confiscate alcohol from under 18's but can only arrest them if they refuse to surrender it. |
