This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

hi out there, is there anyone else gobsmacked or ecstatic at the new rate of 1% dividend at the coop, i`ve had £300-£660-£856 payouts in last 3 years and in first 6 months of new takeover i get £22.49 bet u can guess where my members card is going and also my share bank account and i will be traveling 3 miles to shop in future, (cant wait for new asda in kly as that will bring sainsburys, morrisons aldi and netto into line). And this on top of all the complaints about coop fruit and veg .

Do not hold your breath on ASDA. ASDA and Tescos were going to finish Morrisons off when then bought Safeway. Went to Morrisons the other day. Streets ahead of Tescos and ASDA.

Aldi, Lidl and Netto are having a good time at the moment. Wait until the barrow boys and market traders get their act together though.
