Gears and Tears Monday 02 August 10:35pm - 11:05pm BBC1 1/6, series 1 New series. Documentary charting the rivalry between two dominant teams during a stock car season. The programme follows Lancashire crew the Smiths and the Wainmans from Yorkshire as they battle for victory on the racetrack to reach the World Finals, while maintaining relationships within their families. Im not disputing the fact he`s from Silsden and a World Champion all i said was the program was`nt interesting |

I thought it was great viewing and brought back memories of Frankie Wainman Snr and Stu Smith doing battle when they had stock car racing at Odsal years ago.Interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes. |

yup albatross we used to go to odsal oftan in the late 70's also nelson,haycliffe,belle view,white city,rochdale,skegness,st austell even went to the world final at coventry once |

Yeah stock car racing is a great spectacle Pumba. Only went to Odsal apart from World Final at White City. |
