This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

I've a small garden wall that I could probably do in walling blocks but I'd like a bit of a practise first. Know of any courses locally?

Jonjo, Craven College does walling & drystone walling courses. Keighley College or Leeds City College always ran bricklaying & drystone walling courses, don't know how available course will be at Keighley as the college moves to it's new builing over the summer. Craven may run short courses at weekends.

Some time ago, someone asked if anyone knew of a course for dry stone walling. Went into Skipton this morning for Sheep Day. There was a group from Craven College doing a demo, there are courses available... 1 day or 2 day. £25.00. Contact... 01756 708008.

If you could post the message on for me.

Thanks..Lynn
